Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of Lura, including the questionnaire, AI chat, accounts, subscriptions, and related services.

Last updated: May 9, 2026

1) Service provider

These Terms govern access to and use of Lura, a web service available through cortexcraft.org.

The service is provided under the Lura name through cortexcraft.org. Contact: help@cortexcraft.org.

2) Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using Lura, creating an account, starting the questionnaire, using the chat, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service.

3) What Lura provides

Lura provides a detailed self-reflection questionnaire, personality-related profile generation, and an AI chat experience that can help you explore reactions, communication, relationships, work situations, conflicts, decisions, and recurring patterns.

The exact feature set may change over time. Some features may be free, limited, experimental, paid, or available only after sign-in.

4) Accounts and user responsibilities

5) Subscriptions, quotas, and payments

Lura may offer free limits and paid subscriptions that increase or unlock access to certain features, including question quotas or other usage allowances. The current offer, price, billing period, renewal rules, and included limits are shown before purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to the applicable payment provider rules and authorize recurring charges where the subscription is auto-renewing.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, paid question quotas or similar usage allowances are tied to the active billing period and do not represent electronic money, currency, securities, crypto-assets, or a stored monetary balance. They are not exchangeable for cash and have no independent value outside Lura.

6) Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription according to the instructions shown in the service or by the payment provider. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past payments unless required by law or payment provider rules.

Because Lura provides digital services and access may begin immediately after purchase, refunds are generally not provided after the service has been made available, except where required by applicable law, payment provider policy, or a specific written offer shown at checkout.

7) Nature of the service and professional disclaimers

Lura is an AI self-reflection service. It is not a medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, legal, financial, employment, relationship, or crisis-support service. Lura does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition and does not replace qualified professionals.

Lura’s outputs are hypotheses and prompts for reflection, not objective truths, professional advice, guarantees, or instructions you must follow. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.

Do not use Lura for emergencies or situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others. If there is such a risk, contact local emergency services, a qualified professional, or a trusted person immediately.

8) AI outputs and accuracy

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, repetitive, or unsuitable for your situation. Lura may misunderstand context or produce responses that do not reflect your intent.

You should independently evaluate any output before relying on it. We do not guarantee any personal, emotional, relationship, career, financial, health, or other result from using Lura.

9) Prohibited actions

10) Intellectual property

Lura, its interface, design, software, content, branding, and related materials are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the service except as permitted by law or by written permission.

11) Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Lura, you acknowledge that your data may be processed as described there, including questionnaire answers, profile-related data, chat messages, technical data, and subscription information.

12) Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to Lura if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, abused the service, failed to pay, or if we are required to do so by law or a service provider.

You may stop using Lura at any time. Account deletion and data deletion are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13) Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Lura is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Lura and its suppliers or partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or similar damages, including loss of profit, loss of goodwill, business interruption, loss or corruption of data, emotional distress, or decisions made based on the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

14) Changes to the service or Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on the website. Continuing to use Lura after an update means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.

15) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of another jurisdiction apply. Disputes are resolved by competent courts in accordance with applicable procedural law.
